LEADERSHIP

Scott Murray

From the Olympics to the US Open, the World Series to the World Cup, Presidential Inaugurations to 30 straight Super Bowls, Scott Murray has covered them all. For close to a quarter of a century he was the award-winning news Sports Director and Anchor at NBC 5, Dallas/Ft. Worth. Prior to that, Scott was based in Washington, D.C. with NBC television. During his three decades of television sports, Scott was named Sportscaster of the Year 17 times by various news/media organizations such as the Associated Press, United Press International, Dallas Press Club, NATAS, among others.

Doug Murray has spent a lifetime practicing and participating in the field of sports, while persevering and pursuing the world of video. Whether it’s his enthusiasm for the game and the athletes who play it, or his passion for great video and his chance to create it, he has few peers. So it came as no surprise, that while attending Baylor University, he began his formal training by writing and producing a weekly high school football program for a local television network affiliate. It wasn’t long after that he found himself in the press box serving as a play-by-play broadcaster for both Baylor football and baseball games. That led to a BA degree in Broadcast Communications and the opportunity to become involved in the production of a couple of nationally televised events and specials.

Murray Media provides Audio/Visual, Lighting and Event Staging Services for corporate presentations, black tie galas, charitable fundraisers, and a variety of other productions as well as live special events.

Live Event Productions

In addition to Audio/Visual, Lighting and Event Staging Services, Murray Media provides venue/site selection, technical production, riggers, stagehands, digital mixing, monitors, backline, drapery and backdrops, to accommodate both inside and outside live events for concerts, conferences, and corporations.

Voice-Over and On-Camera Talent

Murray Media provides talent for both on-camera and off-camera work, eg. corporate voice-overs, televisions commercials, radio promos and commercial spots, podcasts, internet/website, narrations and documentaries.

Aside from video production, Murray Media has access to thousands of celebrities, entertainers and sports & media personalities to serve as guest hosts, honorary chairs, keynote speakers, emcees, and charity auctioneers.

NASCAR Celebrity Bowling Tournament

Won’t be long before the NASCAR circuit arrives at Texas Motor Speedway for the second race weekend of the year. Scott and Murray Media will be taking part in the 4th annual Sam Hornish, Jr. Celebrity Bowling Tournament to be held at Brunswick Zone in Watauga on Thursday night, October 30th.
